The primary path to late stage development and commercialization for ARYx products is through collaborations with large pharmaceutical partners. These collaborations will most often occur once ARYx has established the safety and early efficacy of its products, and will be the result of a careful match of the attributes of ARYx and a potential partner.
ARYx is currently evaluating partnering opportunities with respect to our oral anticoagulant agent for patients at risk for the formation of dangerous blood clots, tecarfarin (ATI-5923), our oral anti-arrhythmic agent for the treatment of atrial fibrillation, budiodarone (ATI-2042), our prokinetic agent for the treatment of various gastrointestinal disorders, ATI-7505, and our agent for the treatment of schizophrenia and other psychiatric disorders, ATI-9242.
