ARYx’s goal is to become a leading, multi-product pharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of novel drugs based on proven therapies for large, chronic, oral markets. We intend to reduce development and commercial risk by selecting drug candidates with broad therapeutic applications, strong pharmacology data, a defined regulatory pathway, and a demonstrated market need.
We intend to commercialize our drug products in part through agreements with global pharmaceutical companies, where our products will benefit from the marketing reach, clinical expertise and technologies of a pharmaceutical partner. ARYx may elect to retain specific geographic market rights and/or enter into co-development and co-promotion partnerships.
